Normaal maakt dat niet veel uit : radialen of die schijf.
Ik heb de afmetingen gebruikt van de bovenste antenne : dus 136mm - 205mm -190mm
en met radialen zoals de andere antenne, maar de radialen moeten maar 130mm zijn (140mm is wat te lang).
Eigenlijk heb ik de antenne bovenaan zelfs nog iets korter moeten maken (5mm) bij de meting met de apparatuur in de club om ze perfect op 1090Mhz te krijgen.
Dus alle afmetingen beter 1 mm korter nemen... (verkortingsfactor...)
Ik heb slechts 1.5 mm carré koper genomen (gewone vob-draad) : gemakkelijk te plooien met de hand en het maakt weinig verschil uit voor de bandbreedte van de antenne.
Het plooien van de "spoelen" gaat het best rond een dikke stift (diameter ongeveer 20 mm). De 2 "spoelen" zitten in het horizontale vlak. Gewoon 360 graden draaien met een openingetje van ongeveer 2mm waar de antenne verder doorloopt.
google eens "1090Mhz" en kies "afbeeldingen". (er zijn ook andere "varianten" te zien met 2 turns).
De spoelen zitten niet in het center. Het duidelijkste is de foto met de blauwe lucht. : recht stuk koper - 90 graden plooien dan 360 graden rond een stift en dan weer 90 graden - recht stuk koper. (jammer, geen 3D foto ...)
4 carré zal echt te dik worden om met de hand te plooien...
De radialen in 1,5mm zijn wel wat te broos. dus die misschien wel in 2.5 carré doen.
Bij gebruik van een N connector : opletten want voor de sat preamp moeten we naar F connectoren (best met zo min mogelijk overgangsstukken)
