Chapters of the Noorani Qaida
Here's the description of the Seventeen chapters of the Noorani Qaida.
Chapter One
The first chapter of the Noorani Qaida includes single letters, also known as "Hero of." It contains 29 Arabic letters, out of which seven are pronounced with a full mouth (deeply) and only four from lips.
Chapter Two
After getting an idea of single letters, you will learn about joint letters or compound letters called "Murakkabat." After this lesson, you will be able to recognize different shapes of individual letters.
Chapter Three
This chapter consists of "Muqatta'at," which are disjointing and disconnected letters. They're fourteen abbreviated words. Out of 114 Surahs of the Holy Quran, twenty-nine begin with "Muqatta'at" words.
Chapter Four
This chapter comprises "Letters Movements," which are "Fatha," "Kasra," and "Damage." These are known as short vowels.
Chapter Five
This chapter is about “Nunation or Tanween” learning. It will help you learn about sounds and pronunciations of “double Fatha, Double Kasra, and Double Dummah” symbols and signs.
Chapter Six
This chapter is about connecting several letters with the help of Tajweed rules. It will also assist you in the practice of Harkaats and Tanween.
Chapter Seven
Chapter seven contains learning about "standing fathah," "standing kasrah," and "standing dummah." In this chapter, you will also learn not to take the maddah letters after "Noon" or "Meem" into the nose.
Chapter Eight
This chapter will learn about soft letters and long vowel signs. Basically, "Huroof Madd'ah o Leen" is included in this chapter.
Chapter Nine
Chapter Nine includes exercises on Fatha, Karsa, Dummah, Madd’ah o keen, and Tanween letters.
Chapter Ten
In chapter ten, you will learn about "Sakoon" and "Jamz" along with "Huroof e Qalqalah."
Chapter Eleven
This is a revision chapter for "Sakoon" and "Jamz" lessons, i.e., types of stops and when the stop is necessary and when not.
Chapter Twelve
This chapter comprises the "Tashdeed" sign-in which you will be taught about pronouncing the letter two times by connecting the previous letter and reading the letter in a firm voice.
Chapter Thirteen
This chapter consists of revision exercises on the "Tashdeed" lesson.
Chapter Fourteen
Chapter fourteen comprises practice on Tashdeed, Sakoon, and Jamz.
Chapter Fifteen
This chapter introduces a new model of "Tashdeed," which is "Tashdeed with Tashdeed" with exercises.
Chapter Sixteen
Chapter sixteen is about learning about "Tashdeed with Huroof Madd'ah."
Chapter Seventeen
