What are the steps for installing Synfig on Mac OS X
Synfig is an excellent free and open-source graphic program. It was created by Robert Quattlebaum using contributions from many other people. The latest version Synfig SE (2.3), is free to download.
Synfig can be used for designing and animating many types animations. It is available for both Mac and PC platforms. It has an easy-to-use interface that makes programming Synfig simple even for nonprogrammers. It supports common file formats such as Flash files, Photoshop documents, and animation formats. It can export animated bitmap images to JPEG or PNG format.
There are a few options that you have when it comes time to use Synfig animations. You have two options. One, you can create an animated using the "Free Transform", which allows for cropping, rotation, and skewing your image while keeping its original form. You can also use "layer types" to select which layer of the animated image. There are many other options too but those are the two main useful features of Synfig animation. You can create a single Layer and then add as Many Layers as you need to complete the animation.
To add multiple layers, go to the layers panel. Click on the new layer option. If you have an existing Synfig animation already, simply go to the layers panel and select from the items. You can use layers types to help you place your Synfig layer in a way that makes it easy to edit.
You can also use the Synfig canvas to create your animation. Click on the canvas to open it. Or you can use Synfig Download Manager to navigate to the page where your animation can be selected and placed on the canvas as PDF. To add text to your Synfig animation, you can use the Adobe Illustrator tools.
Install synfig on your computer first if you want to test your Synfig animation or do some reshooting. Simply go to the Synfig downloading page and download it. It's very easy to download and will allow your own Synfig instance to be run even if you have no programming experience. After your Synfig instance has been set up, you can use it to create 2D animations on-demand. This is how you can use synfig to create professional and casual animations. http://drforum.gemini.edu/users/v5zcvej096/ |
